New Website

Term 1 comes to a close

We are delighted to have successfully completed the first term of 2018. We give the Almighty God all the glory for what he enables us to do through his abundant grace.This term has been an irregular academic period in that, we opened and closed schools later than what we have been accustomed to. As you may be aware, Lusaka City and part of the nation were hit with a severe Cholera outbreak early this year.Public and private learning institutions were advised to keep closed during the heat of the pandemic, until at the reopening directive of the government. We are delighted to have successfully completed the first term of 2018. We give the Almighty God all the glory for what he enables us to do through his abundant grace.

Chalo to Open on 22nd January

Chalo Trust School will open schools on Monday 22nd January, 2018. Schools were initially slated to be opened on the 2nd of January, but a cholera outbreak meant that all schools in the country had to push back their intended opening dates. The Zambian government announced that schools would be allowed to re-open pending a health inspection. We underwent the inspection and the Ministry of Health has granted us authorization to open the school. Chalo Trust School will open schools on Monday 22nd January, 2018. Schools were initially slated to be opened on the 2nd of January, but a cholera outbreak meant that all schools in the country had to push back their intended opening dates.

Chalo Soars into ZTA Quiz Final

9th October , 2017   Lombe
Chalo Trust School beat Kabulonga Boys Secondary School by a whooping 75 - 30 to qualify for the Zambia Tourism Agency, 'Explore Your Zambia' school quiz Finals. Chalo Trust School was represented by 4 extremely gifted students; Kalinda Mwango of grade 11, Ethan Kantu of grade 10, Nawale Nachula of grade 8 and Mapalo Mwango of grade 8. The Explore Your Zambia quiz is the inaugural competition organized by the Zambian Tourism Agency to raise awareness and encourage Zambians to take a greater interest in local tourism. Chalo Trust School's particpants sparkled the brightest with an official score of 80 out of a possible 100 at the first round of the 2017 Zambia Tourism Agency 'Explore Your Zambia School Quiz'. Our competitors , Great North Road Academy only managed to score 30 points. The quiz, which was aired on ZNBC on Tuesday 15th August, took place at the ZNBC studios on the 1st of August 2017. Chalo Hosts its Annual Talent Show

The parents, students and staff of Chalo Trust School were treated to the annual talent show on the 15th of July, 2017. The show, which has been held every year since the inception of the school, was our 14th Talent Show. The performances from our students were beyond incredible and there was a wonderful display of the many talents our students have. There was singing, dancing, acrobatics, instrument playing, poetry, drawing, baking and several other talents on display in an action-packed show. The parents, students and staff of Chalo Trust School were treated to the annual talent show on the 15th of July, 2017.
