Term 1 Comes to a close
We are delighted to have successfully completed the first term of 2018. We give the Almighty God all the glory for what he enables us to do through his abundant grace. This term has been an irregular academic period in that, we opened and closed schools later than what we have been accustomed to. As you may be aware, Lusaka City and part of the nation were hit with a severe Cholera out-break early this year.Public and private learning institutions were advised to keep closed during the heat of the pandemic, until at the reopening directive of the government.
It was under this background that we saw the adjustment in the timings of our National Schools’ Calendar. In spite of this, the Chalo Trust School man-agement and team of staff did not allow the disturbance to cloud their ambitions to record another successful academic term. We are glad to announce that our set goals for the term were fully achieved. In this regard, the School Management wishes to thank our hardworking teachers and the support staff fraternity, or the competence and highly professional work culture they exhibited throughout this term. In addition, we would like to appreciate our student body for the cooperation and good conduct observed this term. Most of them, expressed urgency in desiring to obtain maximum academic gains this term and we commend them for that.
We have recorded so much academic progress this term and we hope to see these efforts maintained. Our staff spent countless hours of hard work to make sure every one of our students gets quality and highly beneficial learning time. Besides the deliberately programmed classroom lesson time the teachers and pupils have, most teachers put in extra and assisted their learners to catch up on selected topics of concern.
Chalo Trust school will open for Term Two on Monday, 14th May. All boarders are expected to be in school on Monday 14th May between 08:00 hours to 16:00 hours.
